Card for the Day: Gatherings

Hello to all!
I hope everyone is in good spirits today and that we are enjoying the upcoming preparations before Christmas and the coming New Year.

Today I have pulled a card again, out of the Seasons of the Witch: Yule Oracle.

I’m happy, this is a card I have not met yet!
It’s certainly a good idea to surround yourself with friends and family that you love this time of year. My neighbors and my family are hoping to have a little bonfire on Sunday this weekend to soak in the good company, catch up on conversation, eat good food, and celebrate the longer days coming.
If you’re looking for a sign to get out and enjoy other’s company… this is it!

For our ancestors every day became a celebration of life. We have lost the drive for survival in this way. Today social media and the ‘hustle’ are our main priorities, so much so that it’s easy to forget the joy of festivity and celebrate how precious life is.
Times may be different than for our ancestors, but that doesn’t mean times aren’t hard for us too. Lean on your community for support. They are there to lift your spirits when you’re down, to celebrate your wins, and to love you just because you exist.
This card invites you to spend time with your community. Call on your friends and family or go out and build new relationships. Receiving this card is also a strong sign that two is better than one. Partnerships are favored. Two or more people will bring a much stronger chance of success for your situation. Additionally, this card tends to come to a reading when large gatherings such as weddings or births are imminent. This message is even more significant if you have also pulled the Merriment card.
