A Holiday Reading…

Because I know the schedule of the next few days, I’m being proactive and pulling several cards, with different intentions for all to keep in mind.

It’s all going to be great.

We have entered Capricorn season… and the Winter Solstice was Saturday. That means slowly, but surely, we continue to feel more and more sun on our face… and take time to feel the earth beneath our feet.
My daughter and I are both Capricorn goats. This is our season. Our mantra, keep climbing. I’m happy in the mountains, playing with crystals, feeling stability in my life. And happy to see the sun in the sky for a few extra moments each night.

For those who are just joining us… we have taken a very intimate look over the past few weeks at the Seasons of the Witch: Yule Oracle. I might switch in a few of my other favorite decks after Christmas, but I think we’ll keep with this deck for a bit during the colder months.

The reading for today is a bit more intentional than the daily card pulls of the past few weeks.
I pulled three cards from the deck, cutting it into three piles, and pulling the third card from the top of each pile (my Birthday is on the third — three is my number!)

If there is one theme you should know about Yule, it’s light. The entire celebration of Yule is an honoring of the faith in warmer days to come. There is always light after the darkness and spring will always come after winter. No matter how difficult your situation, know that things will work out.
Light is a dynamic card and when you have drawn it, you can expect an increase in your energy. You are feeling more confident these days and you’re likely to see an increase in your motivation and overall vitality. This is a happy card and a positive sign of success. Pulling the Light card is like getting a big YES! from the Universe. You can expect a positive resolution when this card comes to a reading.
Additionally, pulling Light is a sign of abundance and increase in all areas of your life. You may see an increase in your finances, such as a raise or an unexpected financial windfall. Take advantage of this unusual period of support and abundance. Visualize all of your deepest desires and greatest wishes. Be the master of your canvas and paint the image of your dreams. Will you dare to entertain your biggest goals?
The Unknown requires you to be willing to take a risk. What you want cannot be achieved from a place of comfort or in doing what you already know. With significant risk comes great rewards, and the Unknown says now is the time to take a leap of faith. Do not be afraid to fail; even failure has values and lessons that will help you grow.
