Hello to all!!
It’s been a few weeks since we’ve pulled a card.
So I’m back today with a relatively new-to-me oracle style deck.
Several months ago, I went on a ((silent)) retreat at a fantastic spiritual retreat center in The Catskills of NY, that I have frequented over the years called The Peace Village.
The silent retreat was life changing, and incredibly perspective giving. At the end of my time there, I visited the small bookshop on campus and purchased a deck of cards to use at home, during readings, and even with my family.

This deck is actually a type of game, though I haven’t used it in that way yet.
It is called Soul Powers: Awaken Your Spiritual Intelligence, created by Marie Edery.
I will say, over the few months that I’ve worked with this deck, it has been VERY useful in helping me to become more self aware.
The Power cards give prompts for a Magic Thought, Good Questions, Potential Pitfalls, and Power Practices.
The card that I pulled today is:

The Power to Tell (which is a part of why I’m writing this blog to begin with!!)
Magic Thought: To speak is to free my mind.
Good Questions: If I were to disappear, what would I regret not having said? Can I say it now?
Potential Pitfalls: Accusing, assuming, blaming myself or others.
Power Practice: Respond rather than react. Be assertive. Say what you have to say factually, without judgement, in the first person, avoiding generalizations such as “You’re always such a liar”. Instead, “It looks to me like you lied in that situation.”
I hope this card is helpful to you today!
Please, share your thoughts on this deck and we will continue working with it in the future 🙂
